Zip Tape got wet in rain — can I still use

RyanEstrada | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

Sheathing crew–surprise surprise!–failed to roll the ZIP tape immediately after installing and we got a big rain shower today that caused water to get behind the tape and bubble, plus left edges of the tape coming up. Can this be pulled,  dried and reinstalled? Or do I need to use fresh tape altogether? Only asking because, at $35/roll, this tape is a precious commodity!

It's both pressure-sensitive and time-sensitive; I'm not sure how water affects the adhesive but if the adhesive has been exposed to air overnight, it's probably not going to stick properly now. I'd call Huber's technical support line to confirm that.
