There is a spam-posting robot at work, and it probably posts new threads with links at a continuous rate throughout the day, night, and weekend. When Martin is online, he deletes them as they show up. When he is not, they take over. For whatever reason, the site owners have not put a stop to it.
Tom,
David is right. Our spam filter is broken. The IT experts say that the current website is unfixable. They are now building a new GBA site from scratch -- one that will include (I hope) a spam filter that works. The current estimated launch date for the new website is late March 2014.
Just a suggestion, but maybe the IT guys should add one of those boxes that have all the numbers and letters in weird formats that keep bots from being able to read it and signing up and posting spam. Also, the web host provider should be able to provide some assistance with this problem.
