Who to perform roof inspection after hail

Hi All,
We had hail in our neighborhood a few weeks back and a few homeowners in the same row as ours are getting their roof replaced claiming damage from the hail. I am wondering who (what kind of a professional) I should have the roof inspected by. I would imagine roofing companies can’t be inspectors themselves as they would have a vested interest.

Get a few bid from roofers each will inspect the rood and tell you if they think the insurance will approve the claim. Before the work starts most insurance Co will send their own inspector.
I say do everything you can to get your roof replaced. I did not when I could have as it was not leaking and I had no plans to sell. Life happens and now I am selling and paying to replace a functional roof.
