Where to buy mounting brackets and screws for flangeless European window
The European Windows have arrived on site without any mounting brackets or screws. They recommend 30 to 50 mm screws. For the fixed window, they recommend to use a mounting bracket.
Can anyone recommend a good self-drilling screw and mounting bracket for the job. They will be drilled in to wood frame.
Thanks

The windows should have come with brackets. One time, in a pinch, I used Simpson mending plates but that was only because on our timeline and in our location there was no alternative. Can you get brackets from the window company? Any framing-stype screw should work, just don't use drywall screws.
I'm surprised they didn't supply you with the necessary brackets and even the screws. What brand are the windows?
You can try a google search: mounting brackets for European windows
Any number of brands will come up within the first 3 pages. You can try contacting these companies directly to see if they can help you out.
You could also try searching: European windows near me
You might find a supplier near you that carries a variety of European-style windows. They may have more options for you, and being close to home they may be easier to deal with.
Thanks for your suggestions. The windows are aluminum and were produced by a local fabricator in Greece. I was also surprised no screws were sent.
Looking at some instructions for other windows, it seems that I need to use #8 1 1/2 in. self taping sheet metal screw.
Use stainless steel screws to fasten to the aluminum window frame. Galvanized (or bright) steel screws will rot the aluminum by way of galvanic action.
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer for a recommendation?
