What Filter box to buy please?
I have a panasonic Intelli Balance 200cfm
the filters are way too expensive, what filter box can I add to save money on filters? Can someone please recommend a good one that will go well with my ERV?

4”+ thickness with standard size (eg 20x20”). Something from Columbia or April Aire perhaps? You want a low pressure drop and, perhaps counterintuitively, thicker filters can give you this due to their pleated shape and increased surface area.
Edit: I assume you are willing to adapt the box to the size of your ERV intake pipe. But just in case, can you specify the size ducting into which you’re hoping to integrate the filter media box? As an aside, I have a filter box on my HRV intake just before the core and also on my central air handler on the return just before the handler.
I have seen others recommend these.

Mine is 6” duct sizing, please let me know I’m in Canada
i have been looking at similar options but the issue i am having when i think it through is that in the winter it will be very cold air coming in. So the filter box will need to be lined either inside or out to prevent condensation.
I would get a filter box that is rectangular so it can be easily wrapped in rigid insulation. You can look at AirScape SFB or the AC infinity ones. I use a Fantech FB6 wrapped in rigid polyiso.
Sorrt why does the box need to be insulated??
