Walkout BSMT Door Thermal Bridge
Climate zone 5 in Salt Lake. I have a walkout basement and I am trying to understand how to best address the thermal bridge on the doorway.
The plan is to do under slab insulation and line the inside of the concrete footer/wall with 4″ of EPS.
Do I just keep the foam going along the inside plane of wall and put the flooring over the top of it? Or do I put foam directly under the door frame?
Drawings attached. Thanks again for the help.
