Vapor condensation: unfinished wall, new construction
Dear Greenbuildingadvisor,
I am completing my interior wall insulation with fiberglass batts. I have not installed the vapor barrier yet.Cold days have arrived in ottawa valley and started heating inside. The ceiling is sealed and insulated.
I noticed the wall cavities and fiberglass batts are wet with condensation.Whats the best next step to correct this problem, remove all insulation and let dry with heating, shut off all heating and let dry or can i close and seal the wall cavity since its only condensation.
Any help would be appreciated.
