There are at least two companies selling products called ThermaDeck. One is a radiant barrier for roofs, and the other is a type of SIP floor.
If you are talking about the radiant barrier for roofs, it would not be a wise investment in Minneapolis. Radiant roof barriers are not needed in cold climates. Spend your money elsewhere.
Yes, I was talking about the one for roofs. The roofer suggested it primarly as a way of adding ventilation above the existing roof deck.
