Using tech shield as radient barrier ( facing down toward foil on polyiso ) under (.30 sri ) shingles, over 3/4″ or 1″ inch vent channel over 5″ foil faced polyiso over grace I&W on 3/4 plywood roof deck. may add 2 to 3 inches of rockwool between rafters  to bring total up to R40
This is a conditioned attic

    Hey Mike,

My name is Stan, and I've read all your questions about your remodel. I am a GC remodeling my primary home, and it appears that all the attributes of our homes appear to be the same (we may be neighbors!). Curious to hear how the rest of your remodel went. Would love to connect.

    Thanks,
    Stan

Mike, I know this is an old post, by what was your reasoning for having two different radiant barriers? You had one with the foil facing of the polyiso and then another with the tech shield? BTW my parents live in Spring Branch and I am hoping to move back to Katy area soon.
