Suggestions for trimming out banks of windows

joenorm | Posted in General Questions on

I am siding my place with a combination of wood and metal. So far so good. There are two sections of the house that have “banks” of windows, meaning sets of windows stacked on top one another. I am struggling to come up with ways to trim these areas with watertightness and aesthetics in mind. Both are tall walls that are exposed to the elements,There will be plenty of wetting and drying cycles throughout their lives.Any suggestions appreciated.

    Hi Joe.

This typically needs to be part of the design process so that the rough opens are framed and windows are set with enough space between them for flashing and trim. Are the walls already built? If so, please post some photos. If not, do you have drawings?
