Sourcing Large Solar Shades
I have a west facing 12′ wide x 9′ high lift and slide door. And a 9′ wide x 7′ tall window. Need to shade those for my PH.
I’m having trouble finding a 12′ x 9′ exterior solar shade, or even two 6’w x 9’h. I know specialty places can probably do it but hoping to stay in a consumer realm of pricing. Anyone have a source?

If you want custom and/or motorized shades, your best option is to Google in your area. Must good custom shops are local, and they have suppliers that big box stores or Ikea don't have.
These are great. We installed 3 of them on our house last year. They have 12'.

Thanks, good to know you like them. I saw them through Costco but they only have 7' tall and my door is 9' tall. But it could be okay since no sun will come down the bottom 2 feet. Might just look a little odd. But I have to find out if when they say 12' the header dimension is 12' or the fabric is 12'. Since our door is 12' we don't want to be a little short.
I think fabric is about two inches less on each side than the stated dimensions. We installed a shade on the windows above the door and a shade just for the door. Basically two shades stacked one above the other. It's on the back of our property so not really noticeable.
