Selling a Suburban Homestead
Over the past 40 years I have had the privilege of being able to create a healthy, energy efficient micro-farm in Concord, MA. It is now time to simplify. My question is then, “How do I market this opportunity to find the someone who would really appreciate the progress made here in creating a suburban homestead”. This property is located at 20 Darton Street in Concord, MA. Numerous Green Building Techniques are in use here. These include generous insulation in the walls, moveable insulation over the windows and a 27′ x 9′ heat-storing greenhouse.

How much land? Do you have high speed internet access? These days folks are looking for a more quiet living environment as long as they can be connected. We have fiber optic at our farm, a faster (2.5 times) connection than I have in MSP.
There are 30,000 square feet of land with this property. Yes, we have high speed internet access provided by Concord's own broadband connection. This is in conjunction with the Concord Municipal Light Plant (CMLP), who supply electricity at about $0.18/KWH..
The way the market is these days and with inflation and the cost of energy, I don't think you'll have any problem selling that property. Interview 3 real estate agents and choose the one that sees your vision the way you do and not just the one that thinks it's worth the most money.
