I’m putting QuietWalk Plus over Advantech and then Amorim cork planks over that. 

My question is, should I do anything special around floor vents? Should I tape the QW down so forced air doesn’t make its way through the gaps between the vent grate and the boot and then underneath the QW? Or is that even an issue? And should I worry about air making its way between the QW and the cork planks?
