We have a 4′ crawl space that has eps foam+vapour retarder for a ‘slab.’ what are some cost-efficient options for protecting the foam and poly? i imagine the homeowner will want to use the space for some storage. p.s., concrete is not an option….thanks again, gba!

Erik,
The right answer is "concrete." I'm not sure why you don't like the right answer.
I suppose you can loose-lay some 4x8 sheets of cement backerboard on top of the foam if you don't like concrete.
thanks for your advice, martin. what about laying down t+g osb directly on the poly? or laying standard edge osb on 2x4 sleepers?
As long as the crawl space floor stays dry, I suppose OSB will work.
