Hi! Looking for thoughts on this:
Have an interior sump pump perimeter drain inside basement with 6 inches of dimple board sticking out of floor along wall to channel any wall water into sump system.
It was suggested to me to install a poly plastic directly on the brick/block wall (and not the interior side of the studs), tucked into dimple board to channel any condensation into sump /trench system. But I have read that Poly=BAD.
Not sure it matters, but climate zone 4.
Is this good or bad?
Thanks,
Rob
