Please recommend an under deck ceiling and rain drainage system which is durable and attractive?
I have just completed an all seasons lake front home with a walk out basement leading to a patio below a 10 X 24 ft pressure treated deck with TREX like flooring, I would like to install a long range durable, attractive, rain drainage system as a ceiling under this deck so that the patio may be used during inclement weather. Would appreciate any recommendations.

We build an EPDM covered deck and add decking on sleepers when your desire is requested.
Building a home it makes sense to ask questions prior to building not after. Trex and others sell under deck drain systems, that is your choice now.
AJ is unfortunately right. Once the decking is on all the solutions are distinctly second best.
Agreed. You can also use lightweight concrete tile loose laid on the EPDM. No maintenance finish, 10X better looking than Trex.
James, After years of frustration dealing with both wood and composite decks I've started using concrete on all of them, whether they use membranes or not. Even using regular pavers it only adds about 20 lbs per foot dead load, which seldom necessitates much beefing up of the structure. The tyranny of deck maintenance must end!
I used to work with these guys on product development, this system actually works:

so will 24' galvalume panels mounted on steel hangers and with at least 1/4 bubble fall. Be careful as most plastic wood composite decks need ventilation underneath to keep them from doing crazy things. The dryspace system was designed with composite decks in mind, but Galavalume option is quick and cheap.
Good luck.
We have a gutter company in Montana. We have designed our own because all designs on the market are lacking in one design component, or are just unattractive. They are all trying to come up with a complicated design so that they can have their own niche and/or patent. We have panels that rest on gutter that is installed all around the parimeter. However, a gutter installer needs to be quite sophisticated in order to make sure that each seamed corner doesn't leak. Many cannot seem to get this in our area. You can see our pictures online. stillwaterguttersandmore.com. There is someone back east who has a similar product depending on your location. There is plent of space between the panels and decking to allow for air circulation.
