Hi- I’m planning to have my house exterior painted with Sherwin Williams products, to match the colors/paint used last time I did such work. The painter I’ve signed up with recommended “stain” rather than “paint”. He said this would last longer and not peel, but still retain the color. I was a little confused about this and will be calling Sherwin Williams but I wondered about this distinction.
