There are a couple guys right in your back yard worth considering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service. Axel Carlson, the former director, and Rich Seifert the CES Energy & Housing Specialist. Both of whom I learned a great deal from while designing and building superinsulated buildings in Alaska back in the early 1980's

I realize that I worded my post poorly...
I was nominating Thorsten Chlupp from Fairbanks.
I will also add Robert Riversong.
I have learned much from reading comments by Robert and Thorsten.
One of them is bound to be right ;-)
