I read (can’t find where now) of them using non-Freon blowing agents for closed cell spray foam. Achieving a 2.55 pound density. It’s supposedly better for the environment, higher R-Value and stronger. Anyone else have any feedback on this?

Peter,
Scott has an article here: https://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/article/next-generation-spray-foams-trickle-into-the-market. It's from 2017 but should give you some leads on where to look.
