Minimum separation between two air intakes (ERV and makeup air)

jadziedzic | Posted in Building Code Questions on

I’ve done some searching but haven’t found any details on required minimum separation of two air intakes, one for a continuously running ERV (~100-120 CFM) and the second for a range hood makeup air supply (350 CFM maximum, occasional use).  It would be advantageous if I could locate the intakes in alternate truss bays (i.e., at 32-inch centers).  Can anyone clarify requirements for me?

There’s plenty of verbiage for required distance beween an intake and an exhaust …

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any separation space required for two intakes. I think you can place them as you describe.
