Running Minisplit Set Lines Through a Crawlspace
One of my wall mounted mini splits is going to be about 50 feet from the condenser. So, as usual, Im going to run the line set to the outside, then down the exterior wall- but, then I guess that I am going to go back through the foundation to get into the crawl space,
then through the crawl space, all the way to the condenser, then put it through the foundation again – to get to the condenser (which is all the way at the other side, and other end of the house). Attic is very difficult to be in. Crawl space is pretty decent. I hope that made sense. Does this sound right? Is it normal? Or, should I just be running the line set down the interior wall and then through the floor- to get to the crawl space? 🙄
thx
P.s. my total line set length will not exceed the maximum- so I know I’m good there. Going with Blueridge Hyper Heat. 2- 9,000 btu heads.

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly, but I have a similar situation so I will offer my two cents. My condenser is situated at the exact opposite side of the house in relation to my living room. After asking the experts who sold me my MRCOOL unit, I decided to run the line set from the condenser through my crawl space and basement, up the wall to where the air handler will reside. This is typical, they said.
Oh ok. Thanks. I guess my question is
“Is running the line set outside first only to go back in through the foundation (to be able to run line set through crawl space to get to ceo dealer) normal?
But it sounds like I’m going to be doing something similar to what you did.
Thx
