MHK2 Thermostat Question

1869farmhouse | Posted in General Questions on

I have another post on my system right now, but unrelated questions. I installed MHK2 thermostats as MHK1’s are gone.  I set them up to use the MHK as the thermistor, but when I set the lower level unit to 75, it stops at 72.  Thermostat reads 72 and turns off.  Temperature differential was a big reason for installing them, shouldn’t it run until it reads 75?

    Austin,

I'll give your post a bump.

I appreciate it. I read so many good reviews about the MHK1, I was a little disappointed. I’ve just turned it up to 78, and set here it’s rock solid at 75. Getting away from this practice was the reason for purchase, and these are not cheap!
