Thanks for sharing.
I have to say that I find the continued linking to Matt's content to be a bit unnecessary. I think most of the folks here know who he is and where to find him. However, I know less about his financial relationships with the companies whose products he showcases. Given that, my personal desire for GBA forums is to see less things that are direct advertisements or potentially product placements in other content.
Nonetheless, I know your posts are well meaning, and I am simply expressing my opinion.
I have to agree, I’ve basically fully stopped watching and listening to risinger content, it feels like watching an infomercial.
Matt's early videos were much better IMO. The new infomercials are unfortunately unbalanced. No limitations or weaknesses are ever discussed about sponsored products. Notice the prominent feature of logos. The products and techniques have become increasingly costly too, which is not the best fit for most people.
It would be nice if he took use cases and discussed options including costs and pro and cons of each option for the situation, but it won't happen with sponsored videos. You just have to take his videos as one way (maybe not the best)to do things.
his methods often seem cost prohibitive
Rockies, I'll go against the grain (surprise) and say that I appreciate you sharing all of the videos that you do. While I rarely watch them myself, as I usually prefer to read, I think your efforts add valuable content to GBA.
