Here’s a pretty cool video showing off some new innovations, as well as new product roll-outs from established companies that Matt has used before on his own home.

DC: I was wondering what you thought of this (you know a lot more about these things than anyone).
This is the brochure for the Minotair.

I'm not sure "than anyone."
I'm not familiar with that unit. In my house I have what I think is a similar unit, the CERV2 by Build Equinox. I really like that it samples the air and vents as necessary depending on the indoor air. I really like that it figures out whether it should be just venting, or venting and heating or venting and cooling.
What I don't like is that so far as I can tell the only way to adjust its behavior is to adjust the temperature set point. I haven't delved into the documentation completely. Also it doesn't seem to help with dehumidification as much as I thought it would, which is a big issue here in steamy DC in the summer.
