    Ben,
I don't know of any appliances that fit what you are looking for. But there is plenty of evidence that you don't have to worry about electromagnetic fields. For more information, see EMFs and Human Health.

    Ben,
Electric appliances that produce heat using electric resistance elements (that's a description that applies to almost all electric kitchen ranges, electric clothes dryers, and electric water heaters) all have the same efficiency. They are 100% efficient.

Performance improvements can be achieved by adding extra insulation (in the case of water heaters and electric-resistance ovens), but that's about it.

If you want a more efficient appliance, you have to consider a different technology -- for example, an induction range, a heat-pump clothes dryer, or a heat-pump water heater. But if you are looking for an "inexpensive" appliance, as you are, you are stuck with the conventional electric resistance approach -- and all of those appliances have exactly the same efficiency.
