Long hot water waits in long runs from hot water tank

We have a rancher home with a crawl space and it takes 1.5 minutes to get hot water to the kitchen sink and that is frustrating when cleaning up or doing a few dishes. Wonder is we could get a 110V small water tank (RV Style) and put it in the crawl under the sink area. Run hot water line in and out ….would that work.

    If the sink & dishwasher are the only hot water taps on that end of the house, yes, a small under-sink tank would do it. If the hot water draws demand more volume than you can fit under the sink, there may be a lowboy electric that could fit in the crawl space under that location too, provided you can get it through the access hatch. eg:
