Intercept vs. Supercept window spacer?

I have the option to choose between an Intercept and Supercept spacer for my Simonton windows. Looking at the R-values they are basically the same but I am wondering if the Supersept is more likely to hold in the Argon gas longer vs. the Intercept.
Is there any data out there to confirm this or is the extra $1000 spent on the supercept better spent elsewhere?
Thanks,
