Insulation

Redoing a basement space basement is always dry but I used drylock on the walls anyway. I hung the insulation fiberboards on the wall then 2×4 framing. My question is if I use a faces insulation for in between the studs would I still need a plastic vapor barrier or does the insulated foam board surfice

    Norm, what do you mean by "hung the insulation fiberboards on the wall?" What type of insulation, and how is it installed? And what is your climate zone? Is the basement conditioned space?
