Insulated Heat

In my bedroom I have a brick wall that all the day is getting sun by this reason this bedroom is a quite hot.
What would you recomend me for isolate the heat.

1) Any way to provide shading? Plant trees, grow vines, build an open "deck", etc? 2) Build a 2x4 wall inside and insulate it. 3) Cover w/ light colored siding?
