    On window flanges I prefer a 3M tape. I use the 4-in wide version. For the rough opening, I've tried a few different methods and I prefer zip stretch tape. It's pricey but saves time and it's thick.
    Regular zip tape works fine on the flanges as well. But the 3M tape stretches a little bit which tends to make it easier for me.
