I am replacing the 30 year old pressure treated plywood that covers my basement exterior foam insulation with new treated plywood.
What are your favorite options for a finished appearance?
1) Paint
2) Some sort of coil trim stock (not aluminum)
3) Vinyl/PVC sheet goods
4) Other
Thanks for your opinions

I used the fiberglass sheet you see in commercial kitchens bathrooms etc. Comes in gray, has a glossy pebble finish, but I put it on backwards so the dull gray surface shows. No need for plywood in my mind. I glued the foam to the wall and the sheet to the foam with urethane construction adhesive. So far so good.
I like it. What did you use to glue the panel to the foam?
I think mostly PL urethane, doesn't eat styrofoam comes in the big tube. Sikaflex makes a gray that matches the panel
PVC trim board, the kind you can get in a 4x8 foot sheet, would work well here too. I also don’t see any need for plywood here, just use a protective material like PVC or fiberglass and sheet and be done with it. No need to add plywood to the mix.
