How the Finns detail showers on exterior walls – would this prevent in-wall condensation with AC operating?
I saw this interesting construction detail on how the Finns put showers on exterior walls. I’m wondering if it is an effective way to avoid the condensation on the backside of the waterproof shower wall.
It showed up in a few places:

It really just looks like they build a separate partition that's doubly sealed against water egress. There's no reason you can't do the same thing here. I've never seen that kind of detail in the wild, but if you're DIY'ing it, you could take your time and it would probably turn out just fine.
I believe the idea is that the interior double wall keeps the air barrier warm when AC is operating
Andyfrog,
Looks like a great idea for both seasons.
