Subject: Seeking Top-Notch Door Seals for Traditional and Sliding Doors
Hello everyone,
I’m in the market for high-quality door seals, both for some traditional doors and sliders in my home. The key qualities I’m looking for are excellent air tightness, robust durability, and consistent flexibility during cold weather. Does anyone here have experience with specific materials, brands, or types that really stand out in these respects? I know this may seem like a small detail, but I’m keen to hear from anyone with knowledge in this area.
I’ve attached photos of the current seals for reference.
Your insights and recommendations would be immensely helpful!
Many thanks in advance!

This is an easy one. :-)
Check out Conservation Technology's products in this area: http://www.conservationtechnology.com/building_weatherseals.html
Really, really nice people too...I had forgotten the name
The website doesn't offer any information on how to buy their products. Do you just email the sales email?
Funny you mention this. Honestly, this held me back from ordering from them for a while, so it took me longer than it should have to try any of their products out.
Eventually, because what they have really seemed ideal for how I was setting up a door, I identified what I needed, called them, and ordered on the phone (it all felt very retro!) They're in Maryland so UPS ground to New Jersey had the product in my hand in a day or so.
Nice people, good products, could be better with e-commerce!
Thank you all very much.
Does any one have a recommendation on great "adhesive-backed polypropylene pile brushseal 1-1/4” wide by 1/4” thick (32mm x 6mm". Seems like Conservation Technologies no longer carries that. Purpose is for a sliding door to close up the gap along the top of the door (the door would slide against the soft bristles).
