Hello,
I am in the process of choosing the location to install a floor mounted Fujitsu minisplit (12RLFFH). The unit is going to cover a large open plan kitchen, living room, and dining room with a 12k heating load. The manual mentions that the unit can be concealed behind a grill. I would like to cover the unit with something akin to a radiator cover, but I’m worried about impairing performance. I’m curious whether anyone has actual experience minisplits to share–good or bad–and/or advice for how to design a cover that does not meaningfully impair performance.
