Flanged exterior electrical box

spenceday | Posted in General Questions on

I’m searching for a single gang flanged exterior electrical box and am having trouble locating one. I’m sure I’ve seen one but don’t remember where.
Application:
Wall sheathing Zip R6 -> 7/16″ rainscreen (Cor-a-vent Sturdi Batten) -> 11/16″ thick cedar siding.
I’d like to be able to get the face of the box flush with the siding an 1 1/8″ off the face of the ZIP.
I think I’ve seen a box that can be adjusted for siding depth and has a flange that cab be taped to the face of the ZIP.
To throw a hitch in things this is an existing structure where the interior plaster is staying in place and I will not have access to the back of the box once installed to hit it with a shot of can foam.
Anybody got anything? Or a more elegant solution?

This company has several options that might work for you: http://www.aifittings.com/catalog/inbox/. I have used them a lot; they are good quality.

    Thanks Michael,
That's exactly what I was looking for. Not sure why my searching didn't pull it up.
