The question is in the title. I’m looking for fastener recommendations for the 2X picture frames I will be installing on my ranch home rehab. The house will have 2 1/2″ polyiso on top of the OSB sheathing and a 1″ rainscreen for the rough sawn board and batten siding.
What are recommended fasteners – both size and spacing to mount the 2X picture frame I will be using to attach the windows? The articles I checked on this site, don’t seem to mention this detail, they just reference using screws.
