I am considering adding closed cell spray foam to the exterior of my cottage.  The walls are 2×4 studs every 24″ and then horizontal siding (the exterior side of the siding is a a round profile – like a log house – and the boards are ship lap).  I would need to add quite a bit for my climate zone (Quebec) because I want to leave the interior framing exposed.
