Experience with EMI minisplits?
I’ve been reading and reading about mini splits here and I hope I’m not beating a dead horse, but another member mentioned this brand.
It looks like a good option for my situation, (looking for a 24K unit that operates well at low temp and won’t break the bank) but I don’t find much in the way of reviews or information about this company beyond what I’ve learned from their website.
What can you all tell me about EMI mini splits? Is this another Made in China re-branded product?

Looks like another rebadged Midea. Same remote, installation manual/service manual, and the listed technical specs are identical to Midea.
I have spent alot of time researching units by cross referencing parts, literature, performance specs, etc. Almost all of these off brands are Midea units.
The Chinese are known for mass producing one item and rebranding it with like 5 different names. This is the same for generators, 50cc scooters, etc.
What is your budget for a 24k unit?
I've read a little more and found that Gree makes the EMI mini split.
I am heating a wood shop where I expect to keep the building at 50. (Wood stove to warm it up when working.) It's a two-story affair with a shop for our farm equipment below. Using cool calc I figure I need a two units at 24K, one for each level.
I'm in Wisconsin so I'm most concerned about good performance at low temps and I also want to be able to get help fixing the thing.
Trying to bring the whole system under $5K. Much more than that and I can install a propane furnace.
