Hello all – 

I’m working on a small 4-unit multifamily building in Northern Virginia. Any green building programs we use will be voluntary (by-right project) so I’m looking for one that makes the most sense economically while being strong on energy/envelope. 

Has anyone used the Energy Star MFNC program for this kind of small MF? I’ve noticed that there aren’t any buildings certified around here and wondering why that’s the case.
