Ducted VRF HVAC – ideally require a type of diffuser to compensate for the variablity?

Aston01 | Posted in Mechanicals on

I’ve watched a variety of Youtube videos that comment on VRF systems needing diffusers that compensate for the inherent variability of the system. All I’ve ever heard them referred to is “performance” diffusers or similar.

Do these systems actually benefit from a certain type of diffuser and if so what is the correct terminology?
