Duct Design

fromPok | Posted in General Questions on

Hello – I am using Dandelion geothermal heat for new construction. They provided with manual J/D specs for how much air needs to be in each room CFM. How do I go about duct design supporting this manual? Is there a software that does simulation to support the duct design work. Thank you for any pointers.

Grab yourself a copy of ACCA Manual D. A bit of work to do the calculations but not that hard. Generally anything bellow 450FPM will be pretty low loss as long as you keep your equivalent length to bellow 200'.
