Do any of you have a 1:1 ductless minisplit installed in a bedroom, and are logging the temperature in that room? Question about temperature swings.
I know a lot of people on this forum are like me and have temperature sensors throughout their house.
Anybody have one in a bedroom or other small-ish room that is served by a 1:1 ductless minisplit? And would you mind posting up a day or two’s worth of line graph data from a period where the unit was under a fairly constant load, for example, overnight on a cold night?
I just want to see what sort of temperature swings you are getting. With a setpoint for example of 68, does the overnight room temperature stay within a degree or two of that, e.g., a range of 66-70? Or are we talking more significant swings, like +/- 3 degrees for a range of 65-71?
I could probably live with a bedroom temperature range of 66-70 from a setpoint of 68. But anything more than that and I’d be uncomfortable with the swings and would need to look for a different solution.
Thanks!
Edit: I’m aware that room loads and capacities matter. If you happen to know that information and can post it as well, that would be great, but regardless, I’m just curious to see what sort of temperature swings would be within the realm of normal for a 1:1 minisplit in a small-ish room.
