Crushed concrete and asphalt in place of crushed stone for foundation drainage?

I’m installing footing drains on my 1930s house. I’ve read all about how to do it and feel good about the process. I would like to use a recycled product like crushed concrete instead of stone as the back fill material. It’s cheaper and it reuses old material.
My question is about drainage: will it drain sufficiently? or should I stick with stone? Specifically, here’s what the company is offering. https://www.ewingstreetstone.com/
Thanks
Austin

Some of the photos on the Ewing site show nice, open aggregate, which is what you want. Other photos show a lot of fines, which is not what you want.
Joel has it right; it's all about the fines.

i decided not to risk it, and went with round stone. i was afraid the concrete would create fines, if that makes sense.
