Hello All,
Covered patio 16’x70′ and not sure whether to go with concrete or with Trex type synthetic/composite decking?
Please help with pros and cons of both systems.. Ideally would like to channel the water where it doesn’t go thru to the space below it.

You need to provide more information. It sounds like you want to build an exterior patio over a basement space (or perhaps a second-floor patio over a first-floor conditioned room). Is that correct?
If there is a room under the patio, the first thing you need to do is to install a waterproof roof. Once you have completed a waterproof roof, you can think about detailing a patio.
