Combi-Core Plywood and MDF
Well!
I did not know that combi-core plywood existed (I saw it being used in a video where they were building bunk-beds). What is combi-core? It’s plywood that has an MDF skin on both sides which means it’s really good for core structural strength but also really good for painting.
I knew that you could get plywood with a finer wood veneer on it (usually for staining) and you could get MDF with a wood veneer on it but I didn’t know there was plywood with an MDF veneer available.
Anyone know of other types of specialty sheet goods, either for construction (wall paneling) or cabinetry/furniture building, or have built something using this material?
