Can I use a vapor barrier below and above rigid foam for a heated slab
The building inspector wants the vapor barrier below the rigid foam because that is what the manufacturer recommends.
All the green building articles say it is best to put the vapor barrier directly beneth the concrete.
Is there any reason I can’t do both, a barrier under the rigid foam (to keep the inspector happy, and another one on top of the foam for best practices?
