Basement bathroom to HRV unit ducting

| Posted in General Questions on

I am DIYer and renovating my basement in Edmonton area Alberta, CA. My house is equipped with Lifebreathe HRV system. My concern is regarding ducting for basement bathroom to HRV unit. It is approx all the horizontal 8 meter run. there is not possible to have appreciable slope in ducting. Here I am also attaching HRV unit pic.

1. Is there any problem occurs in al the horizontal run. I am worried that water may condense in a duct and will flow back through bathroom vent. can it be possible ?

2. if yes, how to overcome this problem ? How much slope is necessary for ducting?

3.  how much far from the HRV unit, I must put connection to main return line of HRV?
