Architect who can make a rigid foam over the roof look good
I’m buying a 200 year old federalist style 2.5 story house east of Worcester, MA with a 20-30 year old architectural shingle roof. The shingles are in good shape, so I don’t urgently need to replace them. So, since I have some time, I would like to get an architect to draw up plans to install rigid foam over the deck when I re-roof eventually.
Can anyone recommend an architect who can design details that will make the extra inches of roof thickness look architecturally appropriate over a 200 year old brick facade? Local would be nice, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

John,
Consider only adding the foam to the part of the roof over the conditioned area below and leaving the eaves alone. This link shows it done with metal but the same would work with shingles.
