Appropriate ventilation rates
What research direction can I go to determine approximate erv ventilation rates? Is the only thing to do trial and error to determine what keeps the metric appropriate or has that work largely been done already? Seems like I hear vatious ASHRAE standards say one thing or another and other people suggest up to 40 cfm per person in the building? I am a third generation builder and am in the planning stages of buying the first erv my family has ever installed.
