Anyone using or have opinions of H Windows brand?
We are working on planning a new house in western Wisconsin and have discovered H Windows brand windows made in northern Wisconsin with a dealer less than an hour away. Has anyone used these windows or have any personal knowledge of them? Their specs looked good on paper, I thought. They offer 3 different triple pane glazings. http://www.hwindow.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/HWC-Performance-Chart-With-TT.pdf
If anyone within a reasonable distance of Menomonie WI has used them (or has a panel built wih SIPs), I’d like to hear their comments.
Thanks for any help or advise.

Jim,
I hope that a GBA readers who has purchased windows from H Windows will be able to answer your question.
In the meantime, it's worth mentioning that H Windows distributes high-performance Passivhaus windows manufactured by Energate (a window manufacturer with headquarters in Speyer, Germany). For more information, see New Green Building Products — March 2011.
A comment posted on that page notes, "I am in the process of purchasing some ENERGATE windows from the H-Window company in Wisc. The specs on the windows are outstanding in all regards, and because the windows are thick 2" triple-pane glass (which typically come filled with Argon gas), they even meet the passive house standard if filled with plain vanilla air and not Argon. I thought that was a benefit over thinner triple-pane windows, since its reassuring to know that they will still perform if the gas leaks out over time. All the other specs, such as VT and SHGC, were also really good.
"I hope to receive the windows in a month or so, but so far it has been great working with H Windows, their U.S. rep. They've been very helpful in the many choices one must make to fully specify a window package."
